Yesterday at school we had a Bollywood dancer who came to give us master classes. It was such fun and it made me realise how fit you need to be to do some of the routines. What was good was watching some of the boys who normally would never do any dancing who were participating and having fun.
Todays visitor was The Ned Show another really good afternoon was had by all. The presenter was Joe from New York who did tricks with a Yo yo and magic tricks whilst putting over the message of Never give up, Encourage other & Do your best.

Romney Marsh Churches
One sunny afternoon OH said 'let's go out somewhere as it is such a lovely day'. So as we went down the winding lanes of Kent I wondered where he was taking me to. It was a surprise when we stopped at the first church!
He has a plan to do a set of watercolurs for an art exhibition at Christmas and he thought the theme of Marsh Church would be a good idea! Not sure myself but I'll wait until I see the finished art works before making up my mind.
I have to say it was an interesting afternoon and I learnt a lot about the area I didn't know before. Here are just a few of the photo's we took.

Up , up and away

Work and family seem to take up all my time and I haven't had much to say lately. Today Heliwise arrived at our school and gave us all a big smile on our faces. If you work at a school it is an excellent idea for fundraising and learning.
Often helicopters will fly overhead when the children are out on the playground or on the field as we live near the coast and army barracks. Always they get excited and wave or shout out to their friends 'a helicopter look'.
So you can image the thrill they had when one circled overhead they took an aerial shot of us standing in a smiley face shape and then landed right next to us. Our head teacher jumped out of ours today. A special treat arranged for his retirement at the end of term. The children clapped, cheered and jumped up and down.
The pilot and co-pilot gave us an interesting and funny talk where we learnt lots of interesting thing such as how to steer, how high up they can go and that Lewis Hamilton flew in it at the weekend!
Finally each class went up and had a photo taken in front of it which will then be made into a booklet for parents to buy.
Sadly the time went so quickly and it was time for it to fly away of to the next school. I wanted to go with them but was told I had to get on an do some work. Hurray for the outside classroom it can be such fun.
